Partnerships

Western News Spotlight considers partnerships that fit its coverage of western regional life and are straightforward for readers to recognise. Partner material is clearly labelled, and editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements.

Suitable collaborations

We consider relevant, clearly scoped collaborations such as a commissioned feature, a supported editorial series or a partner placement on the site. Proposals should explain the subject, intended format, audience and any requested placement. Relevance to the publication and clarity for readers matter more than broad promotional claims.

Labelling and independence

Paid or partner content is identified near the material, and partner links are labelled. We do not present advertising as independent editorial work, offer guaranteed editorial conclusions, or allow a partner to approve unrelated coverage. Any proposed collaboration must leave readers able to see who is behind it.

Start a conversation

Send a concise proposal through the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the kind of collaboration you have in mind, its connection to the publication and any relevant timing or placement details. A proposal is a request for discussion, not a promise of acceptance.
